Segment open-day follow-up emails by the program each visitor chose
At registration for your next open day, ask visitors which program or department interests them most. After the event, send a five-email sequence specific to that program, covering faculty introductions, a typical week of classes, and the application deadline, rather than one generic follow-up.
Why it works: A visitor who came to see the nursing program does not want a general campus recap, and program-specific content keeps their interest from cooling off before they apply.
