Referral program paying out in store credit

Give existing customers a unique referral link that credits their account once a friend's first order ships, and give the friend a discount on that first order. Promote the link in the order confirmation email and a tab of the account page.

Why it works: Store credit keeps the reward inside your own storefront instead of handing margin away as cash while still motivating sharing.
