Tax deadline reminder email sent six weeks before the filing date
Six weeks before the annual filing deadline, email clients from the prior year reminding them of the date, listing the documents you'll need from them, and offering a link to book a preparation appointment. Send a second, shorter reminder two weeks before the deadline to anyone who hasn't responded.
Why it works: A specific deadline with a document checklist gives clients a concrete reason to act now instead of waiting until the final week.
