Referral program offering a free case to both sides

Give an existing subscriber a referral code that earns a free item on their next shipment once a friend's first order ships, and give the friend a discount on that order. Promote the code in the subscription portal and the receipt email.

Why it works: A two-sided reward works especially well for consumable products because both people will need to reorder anyway.
